Meet Dr. Mel Lancey

Dr. Mel Lancey

Dr. Mel began his Chiropractic career in 1991 after graduating from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington Minnesota. Immediately after graduation he returned to his hometown in Western Nebraska, where for the next 18 years, he owned his first Chiropractic office. Wishing to be closer to city life and mountains, Dr Mel relocated to Denver. After practicing in Denver for several years, he decided it was time for a new experience or two. Since then he has been a Chiropractor on a cruise ship, practiced in Zagreb Croatia for 2 1/2 years, and now, recently has decided to settle down in Anchorage.

Dr. Mel believes the most rewarding part of being a Chiropractor, is when people who have been in pain, often for many years, come into the office and are excited because they feel so much better than they have in a long time.

When he is not in the office, Dr. Mel enjoys being outside and active. Running, snow skiing, and biking are a few of his favorite activities.
